ASCE Western Slope Branch
The Western Slope Branch of ASCE recently reactivated after it began a hiatus in 1982. The branch consists of Delta, Garfield, Mesa, and Montrose Counties. To find out more about Western Slope's upcoming activities, reach out to their President Ulises Techera at ulises.techera@colorado.edu.

Call for Nominations
We are now accepting nominations for ASCE Western Slope Branch officers. Since revitalizing the Branch, the Branch will accept candidates for all positions: President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Officer candidates must be a member of the ASCE Western Slope Branch. Officers will serve until September 30, 2025.
If self-nominating, include a bio. If nominating another, please provide the contact information for the Nominating Committee to inquire as to acceptance of the nomination. Nominations must be submitted by [2-week deadline] to asce.colorado.treasurer@gmail.com.
There are four positions on the Board, as follows:
1. President
The President shall have general supervision of the affairs of the Branch and shall delegate duties to Branch Officers. The President shall preside at meetings of the Branch.
2. Vice President
The Vice President shall represent the Branch as assigned by the President, and shall submit the Branch reporting to the Colorado Section and Society. A vacancy in the office of President shall be filled by the Vice President for the remainder of the term.
3. Secretary
The Secretary shall keep the records of meetings of the Branch, shall be responsible for all internal communication between the Branch and its membership, and shall assist in administrative management of all Branch meetings. The Secretary shall also assume other duties as delegated by the President.
4. Treasurer
The Treasurer shall administer, record, and account for all income and expenses of the Branch, shall prepare the financial tax organizer outlining such to the Section Treasurer, and shall be responsible for fiscal accounts established for the Branch. The Treasurer shall assist in preparation of the Branch’s annual budget.
